hawaii
7/11 Mahalo Hawaii! One love for the beautiful people, land, and sea. We substituted our usual tip baskets for sand pails while busking on Kalakaua Ave. Lots of love to friends old and new, especially the gorgeous and talented Ishle Park and her sweet little pearl, Sulei.

4/11 Meet Chad! A French Quarter resident, he is yet another reason why we love this city.

2/11 Happily Ever After...
Dale and Bruce said "I do" on the most magical trolley ride down St. Charles ever. What was our favorite part? Blowing bubbles out of the window, stopping at the synagogue to pick the rabbi up, or everyone getting up to turn their seat around when the street car reversed directions? Their wedding was such a hit, Dale wants to share her wedding-planning expertise with the rest of the world. If you are considering getting married in New Orleans, check out www.streetcarweddings.com!

12/10 Ho ho ho! We had so much fun with the Ashe family at Holiday on the Boulevard!

We're glad to see him up on the world stage and we hope y'all go check him out on YouTube, TV, at the record store, and on tour.

BaBa Blankets is a social enterprise providing sustainable income for African women and girls by providing technical and artistic training as well as employment opportunities. Their wares are then shipped to BaBa Blanket's brick and mortar store on 1330 Prytania St in the lower Garden District of New Orleans. At BaBa Blanket and Crafts you can browse the colorful textiles, hand-woven baskets, unique jewelry, and works of art created by these women's collectives in Ghana and around the world. Proceeds go to the Stay-In-School Tuition Assistance (SISTA) Program which enables young women in severly impoverished villages in Northern Ghana to complete their secondary education, a rarity for girls in rural backgrounds.
